Privacy Policy

1. Your text never reaches us

This comes first because a tool that reads whatever you paste into it owes you a direct answer. The text you type or paste into the converter — every character of it, along with everything the tool derives from it, including the counts and the converted output — is processed entirely inside your own browser by JavaScript running on your device. It is not transmitted to us, not written to any server, and never received by us in any form.

You do not have to take that on trust. This site is a set of static files with no backend to send anything to: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the network tab, and convert something — no request is made. The contents of the textarea live in the page's memory only, and are gone when you reload or close the tab.

2. Information we collect

The converter requires no account, no sign-up and no personal information, and there is no contact form. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other identifying detail in order to use any page on this site. Where you choose to email us via the contact page, that email reaches a standard mailbox in the normal way and is not connected to this website.

3. Cookies and third-party advertising

This site may display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Users in the EEA and UK may also be shown a consent prompt where required by law. These advertising cookies are set by the ad vendor and are entirely separate from the converter itself — no part of the text you paste is available to them.

4. Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, cookie-free aggregate analytics (for example Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views and understand which pages are useful. No personally identifying information is collected, and nothing you type into the converter — no text, no counts, no converted output — is ever included in analytics data.

5. Local storage and cookies set by the tool

The converter itself sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage. Your selected mode, style guide and options are held in memory for the life of the page; landing pages preset some of those values in their own markup, which is why a page can open directly in Sentence case or camelCase without remembering anything about you.

6. Copy and download

The Copy button writes to your system clipboard, and the Download button builds a .txt file in the browser's own memory and hands it to your downloads folder. Neither involves a network request, and neither passes the text through us or through any third party.

7. The embeddable version

If you meet this converter inside an <iframe> on someone else's website, everything above still applies: the embed is the same static, client-side tool, it carries no tracking, and the text you type in it is not transmitted to us or to the host site.

8. Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site may be affiliate links, meaning we could earn a commission if you purchase a product through them. This never changes the price you pay, and it does not influence the capitalisation rules applied, the style guides offered, or anything the tool tells you about your text. Where a page contains affiliate links we aim to make that clear on the page itself.

9. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and every part of the converter will continue to work, because none of its functionality depends on them. You are equally welcome to use the site with an ad blocker. This service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Style-guide output is not editorial advice

The capitalisation this tool produces reflects the published rules as encoded here, including the points where a rule cannot be applied without human judgement — those are named on screen when they occur. It is a well-documented aid, not a guarantee that a given heading satisfies your publisher's house style. The limits of what a rule-based converter can decide are set out on the about page.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it. Material changes will be reflected on this page rather than announced separately.

12. Contact

Questions about privacy can go to the contact page or rlaejrtn16@gmail.com.
